Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

 

On behalf of the Scientific Committee, I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you for contributing to the success of the 18th International Magnesium Symposium, held from August 20–21, 2026, at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal.
 

It was a great pleasure and an honour to welcome speakers, delegates, sponsors, students, colleagues, and friends from around the world. Your participation, enthusiasm, and commitment made this meeting a truly memorable occasion.

The Symposium was a great success, not only because of the high scientific level of the presentations and discussions, but also because of the many opportunities it provided for exchange, collaboration, networking, and the sharing of new ideas. These interactions are at the heart of our magnesium research community and are essential for advancing the field and bringing new scientific discoveries closer to clinical implications.

A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to all our sponsors. Their generous support was essential to making this Symposium possible. Without their commitment to magnesium research and to our scientific community, this meeting could not have been held. We are truly grateful for their trust, partnership, and continued support.

I would also like to extend my particular gratitude to all our speakers and chairs for sharing their expertise, and to all the delegates and students who actively participated and brought their energy and enthusiasm to the meeting.

A special thank you also goes to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the Symposium possible. Organizing an international meeting of this scale requires the dedication and teamwork of many people, and their contribution is deeply appreciated.

It has been a privilege to host this 18th International Magnesium Symposium at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, and I hope that the connections and collaborations created during these two days will continue to grow in the years to come.

We look forward to seeing you all again at the next International Magnesium Symposium! The first announcement will be sent at the end of November 2026, allowing you to save the date and start planning your participation.
